Tamara joined TLA after completing her Bachelor of Environmental Design and Masters of Landscape Architecture at the University of Manitoba. Throughout her studies she received numerous awards for academic achievement, including a fellowship with the Manitoba Association of Landscape Architects (MALA). In addition, she held various teaching and IT support related positions within the University, including teaching various CAD technologies such as Rhino and ArcGIS.
Tamara’s primary area of interest is the intersection between man-made environments and regionally occurring plant communities. In her academic research she investigated how these communities can be mimicked through design to create ecologically significant spaces within the dense urban fabric of the City.
